Ramsey Badawi is a Los Angeles–based stand-up comedian. He’s a regular at Los Angeles comedy clubs and a nationally touring comedian. His set on the Don’t Tell Comedy YouTube series has acquired millions of views—if you count clips, which Ramsey thinks you should definitely count.

The son of working-class war refugees, Ramsey grew up between East Jerusalem and Orange County, California. Before comedy, he toured the country playing in hardcore and emo bands, then made an unlikely pivot to working as a policy aide in the California State Legislature. The result is an unusually specific mix of perspective, high intellect, and scumbaggery in his work.

He’s also written for projects on Netflix and Comedy Central and acted in some stuff, but honestly—who cares. Just go see him live.
