Sebastian Maniscalco has solidified his position as the reigning king of physical comedy, earning accolades from The New York Times as the “hottest comic in America.” With over two decades of experience, he has cultivated a massive, loyal fanbase. As noted by Pollstar, he’s “been a voice in the vanguard of a live comedy revolution.” His recent ‘It Ain’t Right’ tour saw him take New York City by storm, where he set four records with five consecutive sold-out shows at Madison Square Garden. Maniscalco now holds the impressive titles for “most consecutive performances by a comedian,” “most lifetime performances by a comedian,” “highest grosses by a comedian as part of one tour” and “most tickets sold by a comedian on a single tour” at The Garden, with a staggering total of 91,336 tickets sold, bringing his overall count to ten shows at MSG since 2019.

But his record-breaking achievements don’t stop there. Maniscalco made history as the first comedian to headline the Intuit Dome in Los Angeles, and he set the record for the highest attendance at a single comedy show, drawing 19,511 fans to the Wells Fargo Center in Philadelphia. Playing in his hometown at the United Center, he further solidified his legacy, extending his record as the highest-grossing and highest-selling comedian of all time, with these two shows adding to his remarkable achievements at the venue over its three-decade history. At Scotiabank Arena, Maniscalco shattered records by holding titles for the most tickets sold for a live event, the most tickets sold for a comedy run, and the highest-grossing comedy run in the venue’s history. In 2022, his sold-out performances at Barclays Center, UBS Arena, and Prudential Center further cemented his comedy superstar status.

Continuing to push boundaries, Maniscalco has ongoing residencies at the Borgata Event Center in Atlantic City and the Encore Theatre at the Wynn in Las Vegas, enhancing his reputation as a leading figure in live entertainment. His remarkable success has earned him the top spot on Pollstar’s Top Comedy Tours list. Additionally, he has showcased his comedic brilliance in six specials across major networks, including Netflix, Showtime, and Comedy Central, making him a household name in the world of comedy. As one of the marquee names in Hulu’s  “Hularious”  comedy slate, Maniscalco’s upcoming special is positioned as a true tentpole event, set to be one of the most highly anticipated highlights of the entire lineup.

Maniscalco’s comedic prowess extends far beyond the stand-up stage, seamlessly translating his talents into film, television, and podcasting. His new series, Bookie, co-produced with the legendary Chuck Lorre, premiered on Max in November 2023, and has already been renewed for a second season, set to return in December. The show follows a veteran bookie navigating the impending legalization of sports gambling and the evolving culture that bounces him around Los Angeles. On the big screen, Maniscalco appears in a range of projects including John Krasinski’s family-friendly film IF, which combines live action and animation; the comedy-drama Unfrosted, written, produced, and directed by Jerry Seinfeld; the animated hit The Super Mario Bros. Movie; the Neil Bogart biopic Spinning Gold; and the dramedy Somewhere in Queens with Ray Romano and Laurie Metcalf. In 2023, he marked his first leading role by co-writing and starring in About My Father, a Lionsgate production loosely based on his Italian family experience, featuring alongside Robert De Niro. Additionally, Maniscalco has appeared in Martin Scorsese’s The Irishman and Peter Farrelly’s Oscar-winning Green Book.

In addition to his work in television and stand-up, Maniscalco currently hosts The Pete and Sebastian Show with his hilarious co-host, Pete Correale. The podcast is available on all major platforms. Maniscalco is also an author of the national best-selling memoir, “Stay Hungry,” an inspiring, honest, and uproarious collection of essays that traces his career from the trials and tribulations – to reaching the pinnacles of comedy success.
