Carol Leifer

Emmy-nominated four times prior for her writing on such classic television shows as Seinfeld, The Larry Sanders Show, Saturday Night Live, and The Oscars. Carol is currently a Writer/Co-Executive Producer for the Emmy-winning HBO series, Hacks, starring Jean Smart and a Writer/Consulting Producer for HBO’s Curb Your Enthusiasm. She also appears in Showtime’s More Funny Women of A Certain Age standup comedy special. Carol is also the Emmy-nominated writer of the recent NBC special, “Carol Burnett: 90 Years of Laughter & Love.” She has written for The Oscars nine times, more than any other female writer to date. Most impressively, among her many honors is the prestigious Writer’s Guild Award for her writing on television’s classic comedy, Modern Family.
