Willie Hunter
Bio
Willie Hunter is an American comedian, writer, and actor. Willie got his start as a doorman at the World Famous Comedy Store in 2010 and moved up to “Paid Regular” in 2012. He went on to co-create and write the critically acclaimed NBC sitcom The Carmichael Show. For the show, he was nominated for a WGA Award and won The Voice Award. Other writing credits of his include The Roast of Alec Baldwin (Comedy Central), Rel (FOX), Deon Cole’s Black Box (TBS), Head of the Class (HBO), and a series adaptation of the Oscar winning short Hair Love (Sony). Willie also appeared in the tv shows Crashing (HBO), The Carmichael Show (NBC), Alone Together (Freeform), The Roast of Rob Lowe (Comedy Central), and Jeff Ross Presents Roast Battle (Comedy Central) as a member of “The Wave”. His comedic stylings can be described as sardonic and acerbic.
